Introduction

The Company has a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and is committed to preventing acts of slavery and human trafficking from occurring within both its business and supply chain. All suppliers, contractors and other business partners are expected to uphold these same high standards.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and the Company’s supply chain.

Policy

Employee Responsibility

  • Read, understand and comply with this policy.
  • Report any breaches or suspected breaches to a manager or director as soon as possible.
  • Remain vigilant for signs of breaches, particularly when dealing with outside agencies, contractors or supply chain partners.

Company Responsibility

  • Ensure employees are aware of the Modern Slavery Act, including definitions of slavery and human trafficking.
  • Inform staff what to do if they suspect a case of slavery or human trafficking.
  • Provide internal training using the Home Office “Modern Slavery Awareness & Victim Identification Guidance”.
  • Assess the supply chain to ensure compliance with Modern Slavery regulations.
  • Enforce a zero-tolerance approach to slavery and human trafficking across all suppliers and contractors.
  • Communicate this expectation at the outset of business relationships and reinforce it regularly.
  • Cease working with individuals or organisations that fail to comply with this approach.

Non-Compliance

Employees found non-compliant with this policy may be subject to disciplinary procedures, including dismissal for serious breaches.

Implementation of the Policy

Overall responsibility for implementation and review rests with senior management. All employees must adhere to and support the policy.

Existing employees will be informed about this policy and their responsibilities. New employees will be informed during induction.

Monitoring Policy

The policy will be monitored on an ongoing basis to assess its effectiveness.

Reviewing Policy

This policy will be reviewed and revised where necessary based on incident investigations and organisational changes. Improvements will be made by learning from experience and structured reviews.

Policy Amendments

If amendments or updates are made, senior management will ensure all relevant employees are notified. Written notice or training may be provided.

For further information or clarification, contact your manager. If dissatisfied with any decision, employees may use the Company’s formal Grievance Procedure.

Where statutory requirements change, this policy will update automatically. This statement is made pursuant to Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the Company’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.
